Dozzi Member Card not presented. The diver will have to pay the appropriate Casual User rate of £12 before 5pm or £8 after 5pm. If the diver wishes to claim a refund between the Casual User rate and the Member rate, they can obtain a No Card Form from the shop. The detailed conditions of this form read as follows:-
No Card Form
Since you have been unable to present the required entry documentation, or your training organiser has not notified us in advance, you have been required to pay the non-member Casual User rate. If you wish to claim a refund of the difference between this rate and the Member rate, please complete all the personal contact details below, including the details requested about your training organiser if relevant. However, to ensure you have not misunderstood our membership procedures, please read all the conditions below before completing the form.
When you return the completed form to the shop, our staff will attempt to check the details on the form against the main database at Gildenburgh Water, either while you wait or while you kit up/dive. This normally only involves a short telephone call. However, on a Thursday evening when Gildenburgh is closed, we may not be able to access the database. It will be checked the following day, and we will call you to advise the outcome.
If you are a Member the difference in rate will be refunded, but the Frequent User Card will not be credited with that day's dive if it is not presented on that day, and you will not be able to get it backdated. You may request a new Frequent User Card and have it stamped, but that date cannot be credited to the other card if eventually found. If you do have the Frequent User Card with you it will not be stamped with the current date until your membership has been verified.
If you are not a Member, but are attending a pre-arranged training session of which the organiser has not notified us in advance, the difference in rate will NOT be refunded by our staff, although you may be able to reclaim this from the organiser. If the organiser confirms that no training session has been arranged then the following clause applies.
If you are not a Member, and are not attending a pre-arranged training session but have claimed you have forgotten your membership card and frequent user card in order to gain reduced-price entry, you will be offered the opportunity to become a member. If you decline this offer, you will be warned against fraudulently attempting to gain entry to the site in future, and you will not be allowed to subsequently take out membership. |
